It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of James Snow on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Rogue Valley Medical Center with his family by his side. He was 53 years old. Jimmer was predeceased by his father, William and his brother Charley who was killed in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his mother Louise, two brothers, Billy Ray and George, two step daughters, three grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many great friends. Jimmer was born on March 15, 1952 in Medford Oregon. After he graduated from high school in Medford, he served proudly in the Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He worked in heating and air conditioning for 25 years and started J &J Heating and Cooling with partner Joe Kerr in 2003. Jimmer had many interests during his lifetime, including playing softball for the Artisians and the Loose Shooz. One of his great loves was vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. During his extra time he attended to his niece, Jennifer, helping her with her after school activities and to succeed in school. Jimmer's helpful nature and his incredible, witty sense of humor brought him many friends. A funeral service will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford, Oregon, on February 11 at 11am, with Pastor Paul Winters from Harvest Baptist Church officiating. A graveside service will follow. A viewing for friends and family will be from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 10, 2006. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Liver Foundation. Loving son, brother, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend, we will all miss you dearly.
